I've had the option to sleep in these last few days, but for some reason I haven't been able to make it past 8:30. It makes no sense since I am incredibly tired. I don't know how to remedy this problem, and I suppose it doesn't particularly matter. "Tired" is a way of life.
The internet at the house has been sporadic at best the last few weeks. It comes and goes, sometimes it's a strong connection, sometimes it just crawls along. I think it's terrific that we're paying broad-band rates ($60 a month) for this shitting service. I'm not sure what's causing the problem, but they came out and looked once and then told it was something in the house, and not there fault. It seems to me if it was something in the house we would have this problem all along and not simply have acquired it out of the blue. It also seems to me that if it was "something in the house" then our household phone line probably wouldn't just go dead for random periods of time for no apparent reason.
DSL, if I recall correctly, is not supposed to be interrupted for phone calls, correct? So why is it that my connection breaks every time someone calls the house? "You must not have your splitters on all your phone outlets, jackass!" You say, just as the phone company has said to us many times, and I say, "Fuck you, cock-bite! Don't you think that's the first thing I checked? I have checked all four phone ports in the house MULTIPLE TIMES. They ALL HAVE SPLITTERS, even the ones that have no phone. So fuck you." What's worse is I know this problem can be fixed, and that it is their problem, because we've had it once before and they came down and repaired it.
Petty complaints about life, I know, but these are the things that trouble my mind right now. I just want the service that is paid for.
