I've had a lot on my mind lately. The car has been a stressful bit of business, and will continue to be so until Friday. Jen's office has made a bunch of cutbacks and it has cost us a good deal of the monthly income we've come to expect. She hasn't lost her job or anything, just lost some of the extra sources of money we were happily growing accustomed to having.
That's life though. You cope, and you move on.
Sometimes it all gets to me, but I try and remind myself that it's not really that bad. There are much worse things happening to good people out there. I need to try and keep things in perspective. It is very easy to lose perspective. Too easy.
I'm not sure whether Eien is still lurking, either way, I've had her current plight on my mind. It, above all else, keeps me grounded. I think of my problems, and then think of hers and realize I'm damn lucky. I wish there was something Jen and I could do to help her and Ash through the rough times, but then we're not close friends by any stretch. Internet acquaintances... just random cube obsessed people floating along the In7ern3ts.

We can remember I'm not at sugar creek, or on Nela anymore. Thats always a happy thought.
