This article is a piece of shit. It completely disregards modern theories of physics. It assumes that existence is linear, and that, should time travel occur, one could not change the events of the past. That's nonsensical. One cannot interact with an environment without changing it. Humans generally have difficulty even observing without interfering. Time travel is either impossible, or multiple dimensions exist to allow for interference.
To use the articles own example; if I were to go back in time to kill my father, even knowing that he was alive in my own time, I would, in the act of patricide, simply be creating a divergent universe of probability. I am inclined to believe that "time travel," as construed by hollywood, is not possible. One cannot return to the past and make changes to their own time-stream simply because what has passed in our dimension is fixed. You could, however, assuming the ability to find a extra-dimensional address was possible, locate a dimension running similar course to your own, go to that dimension, kill your father there, and change the flow of that dimensions future. However, upon returning to your own dimension you would find that nothing had changed. One cannot modify their own past.
More on this some other time...
That is all.

For people that know nothing of the subject, remember the show Sliders. How there was so many different versions of reality? Think of it like that. Yes...
Like that, but not quite as cheesy. The fundamentals apply at any rate.
